Malte Pollmann
Malte Pollmann is a Sector Advisor at PINOVA and supports the PINOVA team in the area of Enterprise Software & Cyber Security. Between 2011-2022 he has been CEO and Chief Strategy Officer of Utimaco, a former portfolio company of PINOVA.
Since his exit from Utimaco, he continues to serve on their Board of Directors, sits on the Supervisory Board of the International School of IT-Security AG in Bochum as well as several Advisory Boards of the RWTH Aachen University for „Neuromorphic Computing“ and the „Internet of Production“.
Prior to Utimaco & Sophos, he served as senior manager for the Bertelsmann-Lycos JV in Paris, France, and integrated several acquired enterprises into the European Internet business.
With a master’s degree in physics from the Universities of Paderborn and Kaiserslautern in Germany, Malte Pollmann received his general management education at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
