Responsibilities
Associates are an integral part of investment teams and work along the entire value chain of investing:
- Deal sourcing: building up your own important relationships with intermediaries, theme-based deal flow generation;
- Deal structuring: preparation of financing models, management of acquisition financing partners;
- Due Diligence: management of external due diligence providers, reference calls with customers as well as analysts and industry experts;
- Portfolio management: preparation and participation in strategy workshops, close exchange with management and support with reporting, management of specific portfolio projects (e.g. buy-and-build).
Requirements
- Equivalent of a master's degree from a recognized institution in engineering, science or business and relevant internships;
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience (e.g. management consulting, corporate strategy and development, M&A);
- Writing and presentation skills with fluency in German and English;
- Proficiency with financial numbers;
- Intensive Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint);
- Technical interest and understanding;
- Entrepreneurial thinking with pragmatic approach to problem solving;
- Team player with strong social competences, empathy and curiosity.
