Martin Olbort Partner
Prior to co-founding PINOVA, Martin was the managing director and a shareholder of Olbort Paletten GmbH, one of the leading manufacturers of wooden pallets in Germany.
Before that, Martin Olbort was with 3i in Germany and in Switzerland for 8 years. He invested in various Small Cap companies in German speaking Europe and sold several investments successfully to trade buyers or via IPOs. From 1999 to 2002, Martin Olbort was significantly involved in the establishment of the Swiss 3i activities and furthermore responsible for the Automotive sector activities within 3i Germany.
Prior to 3i, he spent 3 years as a Business Analyst at Philip Morris Germany. Martin Olbort serves as a Board member at KMR Stainless AG, one of the biggest stainless steel scrap recyclers globally.
He studied Business Administration in Erlangen-Nuremberg and holds a Master Degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland (Lic. oec. HSG).
