DETAX acquires the THERMOtec® brand from HEBA and will distribute it exclusively via HÖRLUCHS in the future
DETAX GmbH (“DETAX”), the world's leading manufacturer of biocompatible silicones, light-curing resins and high-performance 3D polymers for medical applications, has signed a purchase agreement to acquire the THERMOtec® brand from HEBA Otoplastik Labortechnik u. Einrichtungs GmbH & Co. KG (“HEBA”). THERMOtec® is the leading thermoflexible premium material for earmoulds. At the same time, DETAX GmbH has signed a distribution agreement with HÖRLUCHS Hearing GmbH & Co. KG (“HÖRLUCHS”) for the exclusive sales rights of THERMOtec®. HÖRLUCHS is a renowned earmould manufacturer for customized earmoulds, hearing protection and professional in-ears. Both agreements will come into force on April 1, 2024.
Claus-Peter Bartels, owner of the THERMOtec® brand and Managing Director of HEBA says: "I am delighted to hand over THERMOtec® to our partner DETAX, after many years of successful and long- standing partnership.
